Is humor necessary for life?

Well, this is a complex topic, because, no answer has been found yet, but some scientist says that the humour prolongs life. In my opinion good humour isn’t necessary for life.

Is clear, that humour is good for your self, and If you take life with good sense of humour, your life will be better or more pleasant. But there are a lot of people, who are serious or that never laugh and they have a long life. I think that there are other factors more important than humour, for example good food and eating hobbits.

In conclusion, I think humour is good for you but, not necessary for your life.

Computers have made the world a better place!

Computers have made the world a better place

I agree with it, because with computers my social life is better, 75% of my social life depends on computers: msn’s, hotmail’s etc.
Computers give me more culture about the world, for example music, sport, news… I have good fan with games, funny videos…etc.

All this are advantages but like everything else computers have disadvantages:

Isn’t healthy, you become lazier, you don’t go out as often, you don’t enjoy the nature or fresh air, you do less homework and you study less, in conclusion you waste a lot of time.

In conclusion, in general computers have made the world a better place but also there are some negative things, like the ones I pointed out before and probably many more which I can’t remember just now.

My name is Guillem Güell Bosch in english William. I'm 17 years old and I live in Castelló d'Empúries since 1991 when I was born. I'm tall, thin and blonde. I like do sport but this year I must stop to play football because I have a little problem in my spine but now we are doing swimming pool in Club Nautic Empuriabrava. Also, I like play to computer, meet to my friends, play to playstation.

My father's name's is Salvi and the name of my mother is Teresa. I have two brothers: Eloi is 12 years old and he is studing in first of ESO and Jofre, he is 20 years old and he is studing Biotechnology in the University of Vic.I have one dog, its name is Trasto, it is 1 year old.

I like watch football in TV, my favourite team is Barça and I hate Madrid!

This is my summary of the film REC:

A reporter and her camera are doing an article on a firemen’s station with the intention of explain their way of life ant their situations of risk.While they follow them in one of his night exits, they don’t go out of inside of building because there is a virus inside and the sanitary don’t allowed left out of the building to the people. While something evil extends for the building and they only thing that matters is to hide, to survive, to try to escape desperate.

And to continue recording up to the last moment.

Too much importance is given to exams at school. Do you agree?

Correction:

I think school exams should have a high degree of importance because the majority of times it shous the gegining of a good future or a bad future, and it's the valuation and behaviour of the student.

If exams weren't important many students wouldn't work and they'd never learn the concepts of life which I think for a teenager are essential.

On the other hand I think some of the languages exams aren't any use.

In conclusion in my opinion it should be given more importance to exams like, science and physics than to languages exams which some of them will never be used.

Thursday 5 of June, Lakers and Celtics will play for the ring of the NBA, the match is one of the moste interestings matches for the last ten years.
Lakers and Celtics are the two most importants or historic teams of the NBA.

I disagree with this statesman, only watching the news on TV, you can see disaster provoked by humans, and bring about destruction to the Earth. For example: the pollution.
I think people are selfish, and they don't seem to care about the world, although, now, we know the consequences that we are going to get!

On the other hand, it's true that people are more responsible than 20 years ago, but it isn't sufficient. Companies and factories, now, start to be conscientious about the problem, and they have started taking measures, but it is because the scientist has predicted a catastrophic future.

In conclusion, people are more conscientious than they were but I think a lot of people don't care about damaging the environment.

We are going to talk about a nation of United Kingdom, Scotland. This nation is in the Great Britain. The capital of Scotland is Edinburgh, but the largest city is Glasgow.The official language is English, but also speak Gaelic and Scots.The history of Scotland started around ten thousand years, until at present.The Government is constitutional monarchy.The patron of Scotland is St. Andrew.The money that they use is pound sterling.
Well… Now I will talk a little bit about culture.There are an important artistic activity, both Musical and Literature, and sport also has a long tradition in Scotland.
First, The music:
The traditional Scottish instrument is the bagpipes, in particular the one from the Highlands. The Clarsach or Celt harp, violins and accordions are also Scottish instruments especially the last two which are part of the traditional Scottish Dances.
Second, the TV:
The national broadcaster is BBC Scotland (BBC Alba in Gaelic), a constituent part of the British Broadcasting Corporation, the publicly-funded broadcaster of the United Kingdom.
Third, Literature:
Robert Burns is considerate the national poet, their much of his writing is also in English and in a "light" Scots dialect which is more accessible to a wider audience.Another writer is James Matthew Barrie who is the author of Peter Pan.
Forth, Sports:
Sport also plays a big part in the Scottish culture as the country holds many sporting events. The Football and Ruby are the more important sports of Scotland.Scotland has its own national governing bodies, such as the Scottish Football Association (the second oldest national football association in the world) and the Scottish Rugby Union.Some varieties of football have been practiced in Scotland, for various centuries: the first dates from 1424. Associated football is the national sport in Scotland; in fact the Scottish Cup is the most ancient trophy in the world. The twice big teams in Scotland are Celtic of Glasgow and Rangers of Glasgow, that they are rivals of the same city, because Celtic are Catholics and Rangers are Protestants.Another Sport is Golf; St. Andrews is the birthplace of golf and the oldest golf course in the world. Is almost a place of worship for golfers.
There are other elements of sport in the Highland Games like mountains games, and some Celt sports like curling or shinty. Cricket is also a popular sport in Scotland with the team having qualified for the ICC Cricket World Cup on three occasions and having co-hosted the world cup in 1999.
And finally the most characteristic of Scotland is her dress: the traditional Scottish wear is the Kilt also called Scottish Skirt which offends the Scottish if you say it.

Pairing, Of Champions league!

Today, has been held the draw for the pairings for the finals of the Champions league, Barça will play against Shalkea'o4, the first leg will be played in Germany and the second leg will be played in Barcelona. Shalkea'04 are the weakest team in the competition, so Barcelona has been lucky.

Description of my friend Iñaki!

I have known Iñaki since we were at primary school. He’s a good friend. We have played together football for 7 years.
Now I’m going to describe physical appearances and personality.


Iñaki, isn’t tall but he isn’t short, five years ago, he was the tallest in our, but he has remained small. He’s very strong and very broad-shouldered. He is a little short-sighted and he has a long sideburns.


Iñaki is a little big-headed, but he always likes joking, he is a little bit narrow-minded and sometimes is thick skinned. He never gets angry, and he is always fooling about.
He is a little cold-hearted.

Horror Story!

One day, when the man was still driving a horse and cart, David, a men who was forty-five, arrived in his house.
- Hello.... hello? My love? Tania…! My children?
Nobody answered…
David thought that they had gone for a walk, but it was strange because it was a bad day.
David was sitting on the armchair and he was reading a book.
The time went by…, it was 8 o’clock, he was worried and he started looking at friends of the family, but nobody knew about their.
Suddenly, a knock came to the door. A masked man said:
-Hello David…, if you want see your family, you must go to church but you mustn’t tell the police….-and he left.
The masked men had a grief voice.
David went to church quickly, and when arrived, he went in and, the masked man threw an axe at him and split his head right in the middle.

His family, were hanging from the ceiling of the church. Under their feet making there was a pool of blood which had been dripping from the neck.

FRANKEINSTEIN: Differences between the film and the book!

There are some differences between the film and the book, these are some of them:

The book says that the monster have a yellow skin and in the film you can see, the monster with a nomal color of skin.

The book says that Elisabeth has a blonde hair but in the film Elisabeth has a brown hair.

In the book the monster strangles Elisabeth and in the film the monster pulls of Elisabeth heart.

In the book Justine goes to prision and died there but in the film The justice hangs her.

In the book, the second monster which he was creating, the company of first monster, before that she live and in the book the second monster live but ride away he cometes suicide.

I think the film is better, it's more impacting because it's a horror film, and the book doesn't impress me.

Goodbye Madrid!

Yesterday, Madrid lost his match by 1-2 versus Roma, in the Bernabeu Stadium.

Madrid also lost in the Roma Stadium for 2-1.

They have been elimineited in the last sixteen for the last 4 years.

Milan was eliminated by Arsenal!

Milan lost versus Arsenal by 2-0.

In the first leg they drew 0-0, but Arsenal was been the best team of the tie.

Milan were last fear Champions of the European Cup, but this year they won't be able to win again, because they were put out.

Yesterday Barça went through to the last sixteen!

Last night, Barça went through after beating Celtic by 1-0, in the first leg Barça had already won by three goals to two.

Barça scored int the second minute, and the rest of the match was very boring, Celtic didn't create any danger, their first shot at goal came in the 85 minute, that was the only time Barça's goalkeeper had to save anything.

The most negative part of the match was when Messi went down injured and he'll be out for at least six weeks.

Dear Mrs Pinto,

I’m writing to you because I don’t agree with some things in the centre.

-

One the one hand I disagree with the education system, I think it should be better, at present it is a disaster, more technology should be used, computers, scanners, power points etc…
I believe that students of Batxillerat should have more information on “Selectivitat” and Universities.
Furthermore I don’t live the look of the school building, I think the wall colours should be changed, the grills on the windows should be taken out, and the exit doors for the Batxillerat students are too far away from the classrooms. And finally if it’s possible the alarm bell should be replaced for a better one.

On the other hand, the school building has some good things, it’s very spacious, I like the passage way and it has a modern structure.

-

In conclusion, I thing that the college building could be much better; from outside it looks like a prison, also the education in general should be improved.

El Bulli is situated in Roses (Costa Brava), is considered the world’s Best Restaurant. The manager of it is Juli Soler, while, Ferran Adrià (the best cook of the world) worked his way up from chef to head of the kitchen.

The menu of Bulli consists of around 30 courses and costs about 250 euros for head.

El Bulli was awarded the first of three Michelin Stars in 1975.
